Bank of Wakenda Creek, Carroll County by Karl Marxhausen

This work measures 24" h x 30" w. It is acrylic on a cradled panel. This and 26 other works are on display for a few more days at the Hoop Dog art gallery. The curator of "Missouri Views" told me that the digital photos on the blog and my website do not do justice to the original paintings. Seeing it in person is the way to go. Call Lori Buntin at 816-665-5757 this week. She will open the gallery just for you so you can see this work. The show comes down Monday, July 27th.

You can also view the spoken for digital photos of the show and view the framing and prices at my website. (there is a link further down this page in the right column for you to click on) This exhibit will reopen next Friday, August 1st at the Burkholder Project in Lincoln, Nebraska. It will be up for a month.

After focusing on completing this collection of work - all 27 pieces - I have been too busy too absorbed in it all to say anything about it. And this is just as well. Take a look at it and drop me a note at karl@marxhausen.net
