Karl Marxhausen

"Farmland under open skies was a familiar sight
in eastern Nebraska, where I grew up. Country walks
with my father gave me an early appeciation for the
wide outdoors, from rows of cottonwood to foxtail banks,
to cows along the fence and the late afternoon sun.
At fifty-three years of age, I find rural terrain in
Missouri delightful."

Karl Marxhausen was born in Seward, Nebraska.
He earned his Beachelor of Fine Arts from the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1979.
He resides in Carrollton, Missouri.
