Karl Marxhausen

"Farmland under open skies was a familiar sight
in eastern Nebraska, where I grew up. Country walks
with my father gave me an early appreciation for the
wide outdoors, from rows of cottonwood to fox tail banks,
to cows along the fence and the late afternoon sun.
At fifty-nine years of age, I find rural terrain in Missouri
delightful."

Karl Marxhausen was born in Seward, Nebraska.
He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1979.
He resides in Carrollton, Missouri.
