edge on autumn
Baylee Shadows 12 x 9 on watercolor paper available
My father once taught that beauty is where you find it - its everywhere - in unlikely places - you just need to look for it. The video clip below is a case in point. At the edge of our mowed yard is a variety of trees that grow in the wild. Along my neighbor's pond, the wooded undergrowth, the early accumulations of autumn, and water touching muddy banks - this is where I set up my easel and delighted in the shifting scenery. A distant train calls out from town. The barking dog, the whispers of shhh shhh shhh.
