how do you mix brown, teacher?

My six session workshop began Monday night.
One of my objectives is to turn my adult students into "detectives."
To heighten their power of investigation,
I gave each one a painted panel of mine
and five minutes to study it.
Then they took turns
standing in front of their peers
and sharing their findings

D hopes to relax more when she paints.
Another objective is to build their confidence.
Confidence to speak in front of others.
Confidence in mixing colors from a limited palette.
Confidence in matching the colors they see.
We are off to a good start.
